Reviews.

"London four-piece Carbon 4 take their inspiration from the Doves, Nick Drake and The Who. Purveyors of slow-burning indie with a climactic finale, Carbon 4 are regulars to the London gig circuit and have also taken their wares across the pond to West Coast USA. You will find them playing passion-fuelled balls-out indie rock."

'Notes from the Underground' lavishes harmonic flourishes on the listener.
'Blue Star' is carried along by strong vocals and melodic twist."

"The brilliant CARBON 4 from South London are a new Indie guitar band who license the touching song "Anybody Care" to Future Stars. This great new inspiring English band are slightly reminiscent of Pulp, Kingmaker, Baby Bird and Suede but they also have their own new and distinctive sound that touches the soul. The vocals are melodic and sensitive but burst out with anger on the chorus when the lead singer screams "Doesn't anybody Care anymore ?". Chilling. The guitars are melodic, flowery and jangly but also change mood when they screech into the chorus and cascade into a wall of noise. This song is a classic and beautiful Indie guitar gem with tons of suppressed anxiety that shows itself throughout the song creating many different moods. Brings chills to the listener, brilliant. CARBON 4 CARE AND SO DO WE."

"With a west coast USA tour completed and several radio sessions, Carbon 4 are already firmly on their way to success and this 3 tracker shows why. Blistering and fulfilling these tracks are full of promise and with Matt's emotive vocals and great guitar sounds the opening track 'Anybody Care' has elements of Travis and Neil Young and leads us nicely into the more laid back mellowness of '50 minute hour' with its swaying hip swinging strut. If this is just a taste of Carbon 4 then bring on the main course! "
